Ford has tried an interesting experiment in an attempt to force their Facebook marketing campaign for the 2013 Mustang to go viral. Through the Mustang’s Facebook Fan Page, users can get a “sneak peek” of the new Mustang by slowly unblurring and revealing images of various parts of the car (5,000 shares gets a new image). The campaign seems to be working, generating 10,769 shares as of the time of this post. Overall, the Mustang page has 1,797,619 likes and 24,175 people are talking about it on Facebook. These sorts of innovative campaigns can do a lot to help boost the visibility of a page or brand in the sea of pages on Facebook.
